cat tail aloe seeds
Aloe castanea, also called cat's tail aloe, usually has a single stem. The leaves are covered with small brown teeth. The dark orange-brown flowers are covered with protruding stamens.
The sowing takes place in plastic pots. The substrate used is either commercial cat litter on a mineral basis , perlite or pumice. Distribute the seeds evenly on the substrate. Cover larger seeds sparingly with substrate, fine seeds may remain on the surface.
Then put the plastic pot in a zip-lock bag - with a pot size of 6 cm we recommend a zip-lock bag of size 120 x 170 mm. Put enough tap water in the zip-lock bag with a few drops of universal fertilizer so that a few millimeters of water remain after the substrate has been absorbed.
Location: partially shady on the windowsill or in a miniature greenhouse, during the day the temperatures should be around 23 - 28 C, at night a little lower at 20 - 22 C.
price is for 10 seeds
