Bambusa polymorpha,
Bambusa polymorpha,
Bambusa polymorpha, or Burmese bamboo, is a species of clumping bamboo native to Bangladesh, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Java, Puerto Rico, and Ecuador.
Spread some seeds on the peat pot and cover thinly with the Jiffy substrate (about 2 mm).
Then put the plastic pot in a zip-lock bag - with a pot size of 6 cm we recommend a zip-lock bag of size 120 x 170 mm. Put enough tap water in the zip-lock bag with a few drops of universal fertilizer so that a few millimeters of water remain after the substrate has been absorbed.
Location: on the windowsill or in a miniature greenhouse partially shaded, during the day the temperatures should be around 27 - 32 C, at night a bit lower at 25 - 28 C.
The germination time for bamboo seeds is between 10 and 40 days, depending on the variety.
price is for 15 seeds
