Rainforest and rocky outcrops on slopes at elevations of 200 to 1800 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte or lithophtye with a short stem carrying to 9, fleshy, dark green, oblong leaves that are obtusely bilobed apically that blooms in the fall and winter on an arching to pendulous, to 12 to 16" [30 to 40 cm] long, several to many [8 to 20] flowered, racemose inflorescence with a red brown rachis, brown scarious floral bracts and fragrant flowers.
