Desmodium gyrans (syn. Codariocalyx motorius),know as the dancing grass the telegraph plant is an absolute rarity. Desmodium gyrans automatically moves the leaves up and down by the minute, as shown in the diagram. Gorgeous violet-colored flowers. In the telegraph plant there are vertical movements of the small side leaflets. In the diagram, the movement of the page leaflets is shown schematically in one minute:
The movement is quite regular.

For sowing, swell in water and place in a plastic pot.

Spread some seeds on the peat pot and cover thinly with the sowing substrate (about 2 mm).

Then put the plastic pot in a zip-lock bag - with a pot size of 6 cm we recommend a zip-lock bag of size 120 x 170 mm. Put enough tap water in the zip-lock bag with a few drops of universal fertilizer so that a few millimeters of water remain after the substrate has been absorbed.

Location: on the windowsill or in a miniature greenhouse partially shaded, during the day the temperatures should be around 24 - 28 C, at night slightly lower at 20 - 24 C.

price is for 5 seeds
