Phyllanthus emblica, known by the name Nelli or rejuvenation fruit. Phyllanthus emblica is an effective protection against free radicals and viruses. Phyllanthus emblica (Nelli) is one of the oldest and best-known fruits in all of Asia. For thousands of years it has been used in Ayurveda as a rejuvenating agent and at the same time as a medicinal plant to maintain health, strengthen vitality and improve performance. Nelli is the affectionate name of the local people in Sri Lanka for this 5000 year old traditional medicinal plant. Active fruit vitamins promote health.
The red or green-yellow Nelli fruits resemble our gooseberry on the outside. However, the berries are extremely acidic and astringent. The fruit already gives us one of its secrets: Nelli fruits have an enormously high vitamin C content (approx. 500 - 1000mg / 100g), one of the highest, which has become known for fruits. Due to the many natural accompanying substances that are contained in the Nelli fruit, the vitamin C is even kept in the body for a longer period than usual. In this way it can develop its beneficial effects in the organism better. The selection of these fruits, which are particularly rich in active ingredients, contains the rejuvenating enzyme SOD. This enzyme is known to limit and prevent the harmful effects of free radicals. The enzyme SOD can fulfill this task particularly when it is coupled with vitamins, in particular vitamin C and minerals as well as trace elements. The Nelli fruit offers this balanced spectrum of important natural building blocks. This explains - with today's analytical methods - why the Ayurvedic tradition has been talking about the rejuvenating fruit of the Phyllanthus emblica (Nelli) for 5000 years.

Sowing, let them swell in water and put them in a plastic pot.

Spread a few seeds on the peat well and cover thinly with the sowing substrate (about 2 mm).

Then place the plastic pot in a zip-lock bag - with a pot size of 6 cm, a zip-lock bag size 120 x 170 mm is recommended. Put enough tap water in the zip-lock bag with a few drops of universal fertilizer so that a few mm of water remain after the substrate has been vacuumed up.

Location: on the window sill or in a mini greenhouse in partial shade, during the day the temperatures should be around 24 - 28 C, at night a little lower at 20 - 24 C.

Price is for 20 seeds
