Tomato Costoluto Fiorentino
Tomato Costoluto Fiorentino
Tomato 'Costoluto Fiorentino' is a medium-sized, delicious, juicy Italian variety of tomato which grows and crops very reliably here. Another favourite from our tomato trials. It's more prolific and easier to grow than other larger-fruited kinds. Really best under cover, or against a south facing wall.
For sowing, swell in water and place in a plastic pot.
Spread some seeds on the peat pot and cover thinly with the sowing substrate (about 2 mm).
Then put the plastic pot in a zip-lock bag - with a pot size of 6 cm we recommend a zip-lock bag of size 120 x 170 mm. Put enough tap water in the zip-lock bag with a few drops of universal fertilizer so that a few millimeters of water remain after the substrate has been absorbed
Location: on the windowsill or in a miniature greenhouse partially shaded, during the day the temperatures should be around 24 - 28 C, at night slightly lower at 20 - 24 C.
price is for 20 seeds
