Trichoglottis triflora is found growing in southwestern Thailand and Vietnam. It grows epiphytic on tree trunks in forests at elevations of 1100-1200 meters above sea level.
The Three-Flowered Trichoglottis blooms in the spring and summer on a short, axillary, 2 to 5 flowered inflorescence with the flowers held close to the stem. The flowers are 0.5 cm in diameter and not opening widely, slightly fleshy. Sepals and petals are white or light yellow with the centers blotched or solid olive-brown. The labellum is white with some purple spots in the center.
