Dendrobium chrysanthum, native to southern China, with attractive deep golden yellow flowers. With its long leafy hanging stems, it should be planted in hanging pots or baskets. Cool and drier in winter, but warm and humid in summer.

2. Sowing on a piece of bark
3. Sowing the orchid seeds using the so-called 'towel method'
4. Sowing over boiling water
